Villa Allamel in Cernobbio

Astonishment and instant admiration spontaneously arise from the very first view of this magnificent villa. Villa Allamel, a 900 square metre edifice, is located in Cernobbio, right on the famous little piazza on the shores of Lake Como. Built in 1840, it preserves the characteristics that are typical of an Italian lakeside villa: the gardens and spacious terraces overlooking the lake and its own private dock.
Constructed on a lake front bastion in the heart of Cernobbio, the villa is based upon a “C” shaped, two-story plan with attic. The gardens, with a glass and wrought-iron entry-way canopy in Liberty style, is characterised by its lavish, column-supported pergola near the dock, with a remarkable marble mosaic pavement.
